Mysteries of Udaipur: Superstition, Occultism, and Fatal Crimes
Udaipur, a city nestled in the hills of Rajasthan, witnessed a bizarre and tragic crime, a case that has perplexed law enforcement and sparked public debate on the impact of superstition and blind faith. Last Sunday night, the mysterious death of six family members in Gol Nedi village, including four children, revealed the dark side of dependence on occult practices.
The Tragedy in Gol Nedi Village
In a scene straight out of a horror movie, Prakash, a fervent believer in local Occultist practices, turned his home into a hellhouse. According to the post-mortem report, Prakash strangled his wife and then proceeded to murder his four children. The force with which he twisted their necks fractured their spines. In his frenzied state, he committed suicide by hanging himself. Dr. Vijendra Singh Shekawat, part of the forensic team, described the incident as a dissociative disorder, where a person under the influence of superstition tends to cause harm to themselves and their family.
This tragic case highlights the dangerous consequences of placing blind faith in uncertified and unregulated occult practices. The community's reliance on these practices is deeply entrenched, making it a challenging issue to address.
The Journey to Perdition
Earlier, the village of Sheshnag Mandir in Bhadwi Gurha saw its own tragic episode. Bhalesh Kumar, a local tantrik or occultist, played a key role in leading a couple, Rahul Meena and Sonu Kunwar, down a path of no return. Despite their different families and backgrounds, their shared secret affair at the Sheshnag Mandir brought them into conflict with their respective spouses.
When Rahul and Sonu's affair was exposed by Bhalesh, they grew desperate. Threatening to defame Bhalesh, they coerced him into helping them, as he held the key to their secret. Out of self-preservation, Bhalesh hatched a sinister plan. On the night of November 18, he lured Rahul and Sonu to a secluded forest spot, feigning a sexual ritual as a form of exorcism. In a horrific turn of events, he used Fevikwik (a type of glue) to stick their bodies together, causing severe injuries. The resulting struggle ended with the couple being stabbed, both on their genitals and necks.
The incident in Sheshnag Mandir underscores the dark side of ancient practices when they are manipulated by unscrupulous individuals for personal gain. The tragic end of Rahul and Sonu illustrates the dire consequences of entanglement with such practices.
Conclusion
The tragic events in Udaipur serve as a cautionary tale about the perils of superstition and blind faith in occult practices. These incidents have raised awareness and calls for stricter regulation and oversight of occult practices in the region. Authorities must take proactive steps to educate the public about the dangers of such practices and ensure that those who practice them are held accountable for their actions.
