Reflections on Life: When Will We Realize It Isn't a Race
As we often rush through life, crossing meaningless finish lines only to start a new race, we often underestimate the importance of appreciating the moment. The past seems to drag us back, the present is impatient, and the future is uncertain. This relentless pursuit can be exhausting and may miss the true essence of what life is all about.
Some individuals never truly grasp this concept. Friends who were envious of our achievements or looked down upon us for our success can serve as harsh reminders. For instance, a friend realized the true meaning of life when they saw that they were no longer ahead of you. Moments of costly milestones in life like winning a divorce battle, or acquiring a prized possession such as a well-regarded husband or an expensive car, fade into the shadows as life teaches its lessons.
Realization of life is not a race often comes after significant setbacks, such as financial collapse or realizing someone once thought to be better has surpassed you. These experiences can be transformative and profoundly change one's perspective on what truly matters.
Ultimately, life is whatever one chooses to make it. For many, the pursuit of speed, strength, and superiority over others serves as a driving force. They thrive on being the best, whether in sports, work, or social status. Yet, for others, life is about deriving satisfaction from relationships, family, friends, or perhaps a simple pleasure like a good book.
The end of life, when all screens go dark, is when many come to this realization. To get here, however, requires a different kind of journey than what is often portrayed by the media. The media has turned nearly every aspect of life into a binary race, much like the playoffs in the NFL. From Black versus white, age, color, political divides, to the fight between rule of law and anarchy, every topic is framed as a battle between two opposing factions. This constant drumbeat benefits the capitalist media owners, as it churns out constant conflict and controversy.
Unfortunately, this trend has escalated to a point where media organizations openly boast of their manufactured hatred, faked lies, disinformation, fraud, slander, and incitement to violence and rioting, fueled by their own agendas.
Those who have long realized the futility of this race have managed to live their lives on their own terms. This lifestyle is supported and funded by a complicit multinationals corporatocracy, perpetuated by Gyorgy the Schwartz, a few dozen tech billionaires, and activists who use social media to incite dissent. These groups, often_descr>

It is our responsibility to question the narratives presented by the media and seek a more balanced and meaningful interpretation of life. By focusing on the values that matter most to us, we can find true fulfillment and happiness, free from the constraints of the "race" mentality that the media perpetuates.
