The Trump Patriot Paradox: A Critique

Anonical Patriotic Behavior

It's often said that trump is a genuine patriot, but the reality is quite different. In many cases, his actions and words fail to align with the principles of true patriotism. As one commentator put it, he is as phony as a 3 dollar bill. Indeed, it has been observed that Trump fails to show the respect and reverence due to our nation's symbol, the flag. One can only hope it was treated with the dignity and respect it deserved; otherwise, the flag was a victim of his disregard.

Yet, his tendency to hug the flag is more about public image than genuine patriotism. When it comes to making money, he is certainly a patriot, but his behavior during the draft evasion incident speaks volumes. In this instance, he demonstrated more courage in not going to war than in pretending to have painful conditions to avoid it.

The Ebook Analogy

Some might argue that Trump represents a type of patriotism, but it's more akin to a poorly-researched “fake news” eBook than genuine patriotism. His attempts to manipulate public opinion through inflammatory rhetoric and actions are just as detrimental to our society as any harmful document. He is a cowardly lying grift heap of fatty orange tissue. His actions and words are more often a reflection of his desire for personal gain rather than anything meaningful for the greater good.

A Godfather in Politics

It's clear that Trump sees himself more like a godfather running a criminal enterprise rather than a true patriot. His behavior aligns more with the bird of a feather flocks together mentality. His frequent associations with unsavory individuals have raised eyebrows and raised questions about his true intentions. He represents more of a Turkey Vulture than an eagle, scavenging on any defenseless carcass that falls for his deceptions.

Negative Impact on Patriots

In fact, Trump has done more harm to our nation's symbols and principles than good. One of his most significant desecrations was his lack of respect for the Statue of Liberty. While his actions in this regard may be comical, they speak volumes about his lack of true patriotism. He has even huddled with the flag, but in a context that is more about optics than sincerity.

While some may have only witnessed his flag-hugging behavior, which is still inappropriate, others might have seen his more significant failures. For instance, when his construction companies went bankrupt, he backed out of paying workers, causing major job losses. His tax evasion tactics and failure to repay debts to contractors and suppliers further weaken his standing as a true patriot. No, Trump is definitely not a patriot.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Trump does not qualify as a true patriot. His actions during the draft evasion and his businesses' failures demonstrate a lack of respect for both the nation and its people. It is evident that he prioritizes self-interest over the common good. His associations and behavior more closely resemble those of a criminal or a Turkey Vulture than a noble eagle of patriotism. As such, he does not represent the values and principles that true patriots uphold.
